1965 Corvette B/Production Roadster

This 1965 Corvette has been a racecar for many years. Originally campaigned by Larry and Dawn Vitelli, a husband and wife team, this car has been a mainstay of our vintage racing division. This car was found in an airplane hanger in Kentucky, and underwent a complete restoration. Jim has competed with this Corvette at Lime Rock Park, Daytona, Road Atlanta, Indy, and more. It is currently undergoing a mechanical refresh and should be ready to race the 2021 season.

1967 Historic Trans Am Camaro

This 1967 Camaro started life as a street car, equipped with a 396ci engine and automatic transmission.
In 1970, Jocko purchased this Camaro from a Hertz used car lot in Poughkeepsie, NY. Jocko and his
father went to work at their speed shop, Jocko’s Custom and Speed Equipment, preparing the car for
the 1971 race season. They installed a 302ci race engine, converted to a 4 speed manual, and made
several other modifications in order to abide to the SCCA Trans Am series guidelines. One of these
modifications was installing a rollcage, where Jocko developed a unique design that allowed installation
without having to remove the top of the car. The tubing stubs he used on the rear hoop to solve the clearance problem remain as they were when he originally installed them.
Upon completion, Jocko acquired his SCCA license with this Camaro, competing in events at Lime Rock
Park, Watkins Glen and Bridgehampton. The first professional race this car entered was the 1972 Lime
Rock Trans Am race, where he hired stock car driver Will Cagle to pilot the car. Unfortunately, Will and
the Camaro had to drop out of the race after 6 laps, due to an overheating issue. Less than a month
later, Jocko won his first professional race with this Camaro, the 200 mile IMSA Camel GT Challenge at
Lime Rock Park. Following his victory, Jocko drove the car at the SCCA Trans Am race at Sanair Super
Speedway in Canada, where he finished 18th, earlier than anticipated again due to overheating issues.
This Camaro has undergone an extensive restoration, by current owner and driver Jim Glass of Jim Glass
Corvette in Kingston, NY. Once the restoration was completed, the graphics on the car were installed by
Jocko, much as he did originally on the car 35 years prior.
Car has competed with HTA at Sebring, Mont Tremblant, Road America, Lime Rock and Watkins Glen

1970 Camaro. Built into a racecar sometime in the 70s and raced extensively for many years. The previous owner had the car for approximately 40 years, and campaigned the car in over 90 events. Some of these events included 3 SCCA Mid Atlantic Championships, 3 SCCA Runoffs, and an SCCA Trans Am race. The Trans Am race was the 1983 Escort 300 at Summit Point. This Camaro also set the GT1 lap record at Watkins Glen in 1980, with a time of 2:15.8 with an average speed of 89.52 MPH.
Engine is a dry sump 355ci backed by a Super T10 4 speed transmission. Wilwood brakes at all 4 corners. Car was last raced in 1998 and had been in storage since 1999.
We recently completed a full restoration on the car, and back-dated the bodywork to the correct 1970 style.
Car competed at the Lime Rock Historics in September 2021, where the original driver and builder, Pete Archey, and another original driver of the car, Jim Crittenden, were re-united with the car. We have since successfully campaigned the car for several seasons at Lime Rock and Watkins Glen.
